Should I wear red or a Chinese dress for my destination wedding?
My fiance is American born Chinese and in his culture the bride changes from the white gown into a cheongsam or red color dress at the reception. It would be silly for me to make a outfit change for such a tiny wedding. I'm torn between wearing a western style wedding dress in white or deep red (do you think red looks tarty?) or a cheongsam. What do you think?

The Japanese Wedding Culture Until recently Japan was considered a land of mystery. American movies, unfortunately, did not depict the delicate and intricate workings of the Japanese society. Well, traditionally the bride is in charge of the wedding - her church, her culture. I think that the most important thing to remember is that this is your big day! You wear what you are feel the most beautiful in - He will love it either way! And congratulations on your wedding!!!
The tight-fitting, red brocade Chinese dresses are soooo
sexy! If you're getting married in a church or a chapel, wear your white western-style wedding gown because a red wedding dress would be a little difficult to pull off (yes, tarty and bizarre in a Christian setting). Afterwords, you can slip into a delightfully
sexy and figure hugging cheongsam and look ravishing!!
In China, the brides always wear red cheongsam.Red means lucky and blessedness in China.
I think you should wear red Chinese Dress!
