Where is the best place for a destination beach wedding in November?

My fiance and I are getting married November. We want a destination wedding on the beach. Most of our friends and family are on the East Coast so we’re looking for somewhere relatively easy/inexpensive to get to. NOT Hawaii. We are thinking Southern CA, but are open to other ideas. Where is the best place for a destination beach wedding in November?
Unfortunately it has to be in November so I need hurricane-friendly places. Thanks!

    Why not Florida?

Check out hurricane season at site above. I think you will be okay in November. If you said September, then Florida would be a no-no. But November? I think you will be okay.

    The site says:
Again according to the AOML, there's a "very peaked season from August to October", with:

    * 78% of the tropical storm days
    * 87% of the "minor" hurricane days
    * 96% of the "major" hurricane days

And within this peak hurricane season, early to mid-September is the pinnacle.

    Or how about St. Augustine?

November….. east coast… beach……. i can’t think of anything out on the east coast that would be warm enough for you to do it outside. but why not go to the keys or Miami?

if you want to do something near the gulf, do Texas

or California too. All very nice not too humid that time of year :)

My fiance and I had looked into destination weddings in November as well. However the travel agent appropriately brought up that its still hurricane season then, and even if there wasn’t an actual hurricane, it could still be very rainy and windy.

something to keep in mind when you are planning the location.

If you’re looking for a destination wedding in Southern California they have some good places at Distinctive Honeymoons: http://www.distinctivehoneymoons.com/secoes/destination/index.php?i=274

Even if you’re not looking to buy a wedding package their site has good info and ideas for wedding hotels, etc.
