where should I go for my honeymoon in July? Is a tropical destination out of the question?
I have always wanted to go to the Carribean or an all-inclusive resort somewhere tropical. (romantic, on the ocean, adults only etc) I am concerned that July is a bad time of year for a tropical vacation. I really want to leave for the honeymoon right after the wedding (july 14th). I am afraid most places will be too hot or hurricane season. I am not opposed to staying in the U.S. but my guess is Florida would be too hot and I’ve really never been anywhere else. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,
I am from the Caribbean and live in Florida. Most of the islands aren’t going to be any hotter temperature-wise than Florida during the summer months. If you’ve always wanted to visit the Caribbean, then by all means go!
DOMINICA (not the Dominican Republic) is a very unique and romantic island. It’s a great place foe newlyweds, adventurers, or anyone looking for a peaceful getaway/ retreat.

Try CROATIA
Try Hawaii instead.
i say hawaii, but i also don’t think the carribean would be a bad idea, just be picky as to what resort you chose. i’m sure you don’t wanna be around TONS of people. so do a lil searching and find an out of the way type resort.
ok, coming straight from someone who lives on Maui, try the hawaiian islands first. you’ll probably get a much better resort, i.e., the maui prince, the grand wailea (those are just two on maui), and you won’t have to worry about hurricane season or anything like that. plus, there is no end of romantic possibilites to do here, and island hopping is only about $40. its a beautiful place for any romantic getaway!
oh, and if you’re going for exclusive, more alone time, try the Ka’anapali Beach Resort in Maui!!

Well if you wanna go to the Caribbean I recommend Puerto Escondido in Mexico. It has some hotels for adults only with spa and remantic views. There is not much tourism in there because families prefer to go to Cancún, Cozumel or Playa del Carmén. Snyway I think the Caribbean is a great choice.
Trinidad is your best bet, somehow all the hurricanes bypass that beautiful island and go on to do damages elsewhere, it’s hot too but the breeze makes it bearable, also there are lots of beautiful beaches and resorts, you’d love it.
